Matt is a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist with over 20 years’ experience in the industry, having worked in Scotland, New Zealand and Northern Ireland.

Matt takes pride in finding the most appropriate hearing solution for each individual patient, and he loves problem solving and trouble-shooting, so is focused on providing the best possible hearing experience for his patients.

Health and Personal

Matt lives on a farm on the north coast of Northern Ireland with his wife and 4 children. This gives him the ideal plentiful space for his DIY projects and to play the drums – with the appropriate hearing protection of course! Matt plays drums at his local church.

Wax removal available

Sometimes, the primary cause for hearing loss is a build-up of wax inside your ear canal. With the precision of micro suction, we offer an ear wax removal service. This is a less invasive technique than syringing and allows us to provide you with instant relief. If you are prone to ear wax build-up or are a hearing aid user, you should get your ears checked annually.

Why book a free hearing test?

If you’re suffering from hearing loss, it can be distressing to your daily life. Whether it be talking with friends or family, watching the TV in the evenings, or even using the phone to make a simple call, having bad hearing impacts your routine in more ways than one.

By taking the step to book a free hearing test, you’re beginning the journey to regaining confidence in your hearing. Our audiologist, Matt Malcolm, can determine the cause behind your lack of hearing ability, whether it’s a build-up of wax or another underlying issue.
